During the past five years, EquiSource has funded of $50 million in equity transactions and has achieved average rates of return well over 40%. The timing for opportunistic equity purchases couldn't be been better. In this recent period of downward prices and illiquidity, we have focused on the acquisition of distressed and/or undervalued assets with minimum annual returns (IRR) of over 30%. As the market corrects and stabilizes over the coming years, EquiSource will focus less on distressed assets and more on value-add joint ventures.
